This Privacy Policy explains how Rapcoon ("the app", "we") handles information when you use it. Rapcoon is a rap lyric-writing app with an AI co-writer. We built it to collect as little as possible.

Short version: Your songs stay on your device. We have no accounts and show no ads. When you tap the AI co-writer, only the lyrics you're working on are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a suggestion — we don't keep them. We use an anonymous device number to apply fair-use limits, and Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the app. No ads, no cross-app tracking.

1. What we store on your device

Your songs, lyrics, titles, chosen vibe and settings are saved locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to us and we cannot read them. Deleting the app removes this data.

2. The AI co-writer (Google Gemini)

When you ask the AI co-writer for a suggestion (e.g. "Write the next bar" or a hook), the text of the verse you are currently writing is sent — over an encrypted connection, through our server relay — to Google's Gemini API to generate the suggestion, then the result is returned to your device.

We do not store the lyrics you send. Our relay forwards the request and returns the response; it does not keep the content.

Please avoid entering personal or sensitive information into the editor when using the AI feature.

3. Anonymous usage & analytics

To keep the free AI within fair limits and to prevent abuse of the service, we may store an anonymous device identifier (a random number, not linked to your name, email or account) together with a count of AI requests. This contains no personal information and is used only to apply daily limits and to protect the service from automated abuse.

We also use Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to see how the app is used in aggregate — which features people use, where they stop, and how the Premium screen performs — so we can improve Rapcoon. It records app events (e.g. opening the editor, requesting an AI suggestion, viewing the Premium screen) and an anonymous device identifier. This is not linked to your name or account and is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We show no ads.

4. Purchases

Optional Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details. Your purchase status is provided to the app by the store.

5. What we do NOT do

No accounts, no login, no name or email required to use the app.
No advertising and no third-party advertising SDKs.
No cross-app tracking — we never use your data to track you across other companies’ apps or sites, and we show no ads.
No selling or sharing of personal data.
No location, contacts, photos or microphone access for the core writing features.

6. Children

Rapcoon is not directed to children under 13. Lyrics are user-generated and may contain mature themes; the AI suggestions are filtered to avoid explicit content, but you are responsible for what you write.

7. Your choices

You can clear all app data at any time by deleting your songs in the app or uninstalling it. Because we don't hold your content on our servers, there is nothing on our side to export or delete beyond the anonymous usage counters, which expire automatically.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
